Spitbraai Mossel bay Feb 2010 On my 40th birthday my wife surprised me with a spitbraai at our home in Mossel bay. Cape Food Services asked me to comment on the service: The lamb was spit braaied to absolute perfection. Soft, succulent meat with garlic and rosemary stuffing. And the basting sauce the chef used was like no other I have eaten before. The staff arrived all dressed in chef’s uniforms, neat presentable. It was quite something to see them set up the buffet tables, plates and shining stainless steel hot dishes all with quick and practised hands. They worked hygienically and kept cleaning there hands with some special goo that they said keeps there hands germ free. Without exception all 40 guest were complimentary about the food. The desserts were great and my day was made. Probably the only good thing about turning 40! Ken Lister
